So is not my imagination. I miss so much the days of the business card. Nobody is save. The plummer also need to advertise on the Internet. But a advice that is good for all of us is no matter the field is that the ads need to be target.

First my apologies. I spell save by safe and plummer for plumber. I corrected and somehow I posted the incorrect version. I was looking for information about advertising on the Internet and I found your article. I was a little bit shock because I perceive that your business is based on client to client referral. So I was a little be shock to know that the Internet as a referral system is more important that what I thought. At the same time I found interesting that you can offer to a fellow plumber the opportunity to obtain referral from your site. I think that is heaven to be able to advertise and be sure that we are reaching to the right people. If somebody can offer something like that take it.
Sir please know that I see things a little bit different because of this article. I studied computer information system like 25 five years ago. Computer and networks had been part of my life for so long that sometime I miss what you just said in the article. Oh yes I understand ur point. I agree 100% that real face to face communication, and word of mouth advertising are the two best ways to attarct new business. Like wise “efficetive” internet marketing can be extremely productive as well.

And that’s my point. This site is amazing because thousands of people that are “looking up things about plumbing” end up here every month. And that’s where you want your name and plumbing company to be if you were a plumber or owned a plumbing company.
I know first hand (because i meet many plumbers every week) ur average plumber doesn’t know where a good place to advertierstive there buiness would be on the internet. Now I can’t help any of these plumbers I meet in real life because I already have this little state of min (Connecticut) covered. Every day I’m getting calls from all over America and even Canada needing plumbers. That’s why I need a few plumbing companies from each state across America to get signed up here so we can share the greatness. but that’s just for the phone calls that come in (referrals). That’s only one part of what I’m offering, internet marketing is the second.
The thing is now a days, (why this website is a very effective marketing tool) as soon as people have a question they go to their computers and ask. Living in the Information Age most people want to gather the information they need before even looking or asking friends for a name of a good plumber. When people search things like “how to drain a water heater in a basement”, or “tankless water heater complaints” or “tankelss water heater installation pictures” “state water heater trouble shooting”, + a few hundred other things you will most likely end up on this site. That’s EXACTLY where plumbers need to be advertising. Also we have Geographic and demographic target specific tools. So you will only advertise in “your” local market.
I only built this site 6 months ago, but it’s truly un believable how much traffic it is getting. We’re will be getting between 100,000 – 125,000 hits for May, that’s why i wrote all of this. I’m trying to take it the next level. Hopefully some good plumbers will read this and get involved soon.
