Let us installer your next honeywell steam humidifier. Were proud installers of about a dozen Honey Well True Steam humidifiers this year already. I never took any picture of our past installations, so this post is about the installation of the true steam with a few nice pictures, we talk about what is done during the installation process, and the problems/ issues there could be with installing them properly.

First thing to know is that the true steam is one of the best humidifiers on the market today. The true steam is supplied with cold water, and the unit creates steam within it’s self, and is injected right into your hot air ducts.

Most humidifiers on the market are Cold water humidifiers, which are not as good as true steam humidifiers. Cold water humidifiers inject cold water “steam”, which isn’t really steam at all, and this can cause mildew to grow in your duct work, if it’s not perfectly wrapped.

True steam humidifiers, like the Honeywell True Steam inject hot steam into the duct work, which will not promote mildew growth! Which is extremely important.

Another great benefit of going with a true steam humidifier is they are much cleaner, and require much less maintenance (once per year) than a cold water humidifier which needs regular maintenance (once per month)
